Our Mission
A Muse of Our Own is an international collective of women writers whose goal is to promote women’s literary expression. Members support each other’s work by providing information on agents, publishers, translators, and editors. They review each other’s work, arrange for interviews and presentations, organize panel discussions, and secure tables at book fairs. They offer critiques of works in progress when desired. A Muse of Our Own requires no dues, but members are expected to support the activities of the Collective. We have no president or formal structure.
